Home buyers in Louisville, Kentucky and the surrounding areas are starting out 2018 on a great note! Kentucky Housing Corporation – KHC – has a down payment assistance loan that is repayable at only 1% over the following 10 years. The down payment assistance can be used toward the actual required down payment or the closing costs. Unlike many other programs, it is not a requirement to be a first-time buyer. This can be used for those who have owned a home but didn’t have much equity when they sold.
There are limits for applicant’s gross annual income to qualify for the Affordable DAP program. In Jefferson County, Bullitt County, Henry County, Shelby County, Oldham County and Spencer County the limit is $53,120. The limit in Hardin County and Meade County limit is $50,240, while Nelson County is only $46,720. You can click the link below to get all the remaining counties. This is available for the entire state of Kentucky.
